Many know of the Sanskrit Om, a symbol that represent primordial sound in Hindu cosmology, the mantra A-u-m, and the geometrical Sri Yantra, a visual representation of the Universe.

In the realm of music, de Munck proposes that Ohm is our collective musical center. Located between the notes of C and C sharp, Ohm predates piano or equal tempered tunings.

Featuring four recordings in the Key of Ohm, an ancient tuning based on sounds heard in nature, rhythms of the earth and the movement of the cosmos. Each recording includes a booklet featuring artist statement plus publisher notes about Ohm, from its Vedic roots to its contemporary use as a sound healing frequency.

Marjorie de Muynck (1952-2011), was a multi-instrumentalist, composer and author of two textbooks on the subject of Sound Healing. She also pioneered four Sound Healing compositions in the key of Ohm—an alternative tuning not found on the piano keyboard.
